Necklace DIY

Good Morning Everyone,

Today, I am going to show you my first DIY. Very easy and simply to do, you don't need any special skills or any special tools. Sometimes using your imagination can transform something old into something new.

I bought this necklace a couple years ago and it has been sitting in my closet ever since. I love its color and the shape of the links. But, when I got it home, I noticed it was a little too long for me. So, last week I finally decided to put him to use. With a quick DIY fix, I turned this long necklace into a statement piece.

What you need - necklace, ribbon, scissors, crazy glue and a clasp (with loop ends)

Step One- fold the necklace in half.

Step Two - cut a piece of the ribbon and pass it through the clasp ends

Step Three - measure out the length desired and attach the ribbon with  a knot, to the link where you folded the necklace.

Step Four - use a little bit of crazy glue on the knot, so it won't come undone.

Step Five - Trim off the excess ribbon

Step Six - you are all done.

Have fun styling your brand new necklace!
