It's All About the Bag

Do you know those types days that the only thing that matters is what bag you are going to use...so yesterday I was feeling like this and my neon cambridge bag was begging to go outside :) I've had this bag for over a year, so I was thrilled to see neon colors came back on full force this summer. The bag is bright and fun, just perfect with my "blue napkin" shorts!! LOL. That is exactly what my husband calls these shorts. He says they look like a well folded dinner napkin!! I bought this pair of shorts almost 2 months ago, with no idea that they would became a fever in the blogsphere and to be honest, it took a couple days for me to get them out of my closet, because I was kind of tired of seeing them all over the Internet. Despite my husband's "jokes" I still think they are really cute!! How about you, what do you think about these geometric style of shorts? 

Sabe aquele dia que não importa a roupa e sim a bolsa?! Pois é, ontem estava me sentindo assim, e a minha bolsa neon estava implorando pra sair do meu closet. Eu comprei essa bolsa no inicio do ano passado e fiquei super feliz em ver essa trend de volta para o verão de 2013. Ela é super "iluminada" vamos que assim dizer, divertida... e realmente com ela você não precisa de muito acessórios ou muita cor(risos). Então, pra complementar esse look, decide usar esse shorts azul (guardanapo - e assim que meu marido chama) que estava guardado no meu guarda-roupa e blusa branca básica! Quando eu comprei esse shorts dois meses atrás, logo quando chegou na Zara, eu não tinha ideia que ia virar febre na internet e desejo de consumo. E vocês, gostam de ditar a roupa do dia pela bolsa?? E o que vocês acham desses cortes geométricos nas roupas? Aprovado?

Last Friday's weather was just fabulous...sunny and not too hot, with a nice little breeze during the late afternoon! It was the perfect weather for this little red skirt!

   I have been a skirt lover since I was a little girl and I definitely have to blame my mom for this "condition!" I remember on the weekends she used to make skirts for me to go to school or to go out with my friends. These are some great memories, so skirts are definitely one of the key pieces in my closet for all seasons.

Boa tarde gente, tudo bom?? Semana passada a sexta-feira estava linda e maravilhosa...um sol, e o céu azul, azul! Aproveitei pra estreiar essa mini saia linda vermelha que já estava no meu closet há um bom tempo. Desde pequena eu sou apaixonada por saias, pode ser curta, comprida, no joelho... simplesmente adoro! Tudo isso é culpa da minha mãe, que fazia uma saia de cada cor pra mim, quase todos os finais de semana...#vantagem de ser pequena (risos).

...10 Wonderful Years

Good Morning Everyone!! Today's post is really special...you probably already noticed my wedding pictures, which btw were taken by a very close friend who wanted to record the behind scenes activity of the wedding, while the real photographer took the "official" pictures.  But these pictures here are for a very special occasion  tomorrow my husband and I are celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary!! Time sure does fly ...10 wonderful years filled with joy, with so many adventures and a gorgeous little boy that has fulfilled our lives even more. I don't know how I can express my love for you and how much you complete me. We are so compatible; in every thought, every new idea and even about what to eat for dinner (LOL). We are just made for each other. I love you very much and am looking forward to many more years to come. I hope you guys have a fantastic weekend!! 

Bom Dia gente!! Hoje o post é pra lá de especial..como vocês podem notar, as imagens de hoje são do meu casamento!! Imagens tiradas por um grande amigo que fez questão de registrar os bastidores e momentos especiais inesperados. Amanhã nós comemoramos 10 anos de casamento!! O tempo passa...o tempo voa!! São 10 anos cheios de alegrias, risadas e momentos muito especiais... e pra completar tudo isso, o nosso filho lindo e maravilhoso que encheu ainda mais os nossos corações de alegria e amor. Eu não sei como agradecer por ter você em minha vida, meu companheiro, amigo e amor da minha vida! A nossa sintonia é tão grande que você sempre completa os meus pensamentos, as minhas palavras e até mesmo o que vamos ter para o jantar. Acredito sim, que fomos feitos um para o outro!! E que venham muitos e muitos anos pela frente!! Desejando a todos um final de semana maravilhoso.

Beach Wish List

I'm so excited for the summer that is coming up and an upcoming trip back home to Brazil!! So, it's time to start picking my summer favorites and thinking about what to put in my beach bag. I completely love the ombre dress...I need it now!! The Panama hat is a must have and the shades are super fun.What is on your beach wish list?

Muito feliz com a chegada do verão e a minha viagem ao Brasil!! Mal posso esperar pra chegar a terrinha natal! Saudades...muitas saudades!! Não sei se vai dar tempo de curtir uma praia no Brasil (tá frio ai), mas com certeza muito piscina por aqui (nos USA) isso vai ter. Então, já comecei a fazer a minha lista de desejos de comprinhas e algumas coisinhas que estou querendo adicionar na minha bolsa de praia. Esse vestido ombre MARA...me apaixonei e quero um já!!! O chapéu de Panamá que todo mundo deve ter e um óculos de sol transado também não pode faltar. E pra vocês, qual e o item desejado do verão?

The Mini Bags

The mini bag invaded the fashion world during the recent Fashion Weeks, but I have to confess that I am the type of girl that LOVES oversized bags...and if you could take a pic in my closet you will only see the bigs ones over there (LOL)...except for clutches of course. But when I was walking in the mall last Saturday, I just fell in love with a tiny little bag, the Loeffler Randall Rider Mixed-Media Mini Crossbody..OMG it is so cute!!! I love the way it's so structured and has so many small little details. I just might have to surrender to the dark side and bring one of these little babies to my closet. I hope the big girls in my collection don't get jealous.

As mini bags invadiram as passarelas e as semanas de moda no mundo ineteiro, mas te confesso que eu sou daquele tipo que adora bolsa grande... e se você tivesse a oportunidade de dar uma olhadinha no meu closet, só dá elas por lá! risos...a não ser as clutches, lógico!! Mas semana passada, passeando no shopping, eu me deparei com a mini bag do  Loeffler Randall Rider Mixed-Media Mini Crossbody.

Gente como ela é linda!! A estrutura, os detalhes... muito fofa gente!! Acho que no final vou acabar me rendendo a essa bolsinha de boneca. E vocês, o que acham dessa tendência?
